TerraTech Labs
Welcome dear guests to TerraTech’s open day!
Discovery, curiosity and harmony with nature are the core beliefs of TerraTech Labs. All guests will have the opportunity to discover the wonders of TerraTech and join the Trailblazers in their advancements in biomimicry, nature and science!
TerraTech Labs is holding its first ever Open Day!
Eurosana’s renowned researchers in biomimicry (the study of mimicking nature to solve human design challenges) invite you on a journey to discover the synergy of technology and nature. These scientists are known as the TerraTech Trailblazers, led by their founder, Dr. Lilienthal, and her trusty research assistant, Goggles the chameleon. They’re eager to show you what they’ve been working on!
Join the Trailblazers in the Trailblazer Training Facility to run some experiments of your own, or help Dr. Lilienthal find the elusive ‘Red Giant’ flower in the field on the Expedition Petal Pursuit! Pick up some supplies for your next expedition in Goggles’ Garage, or grab a meal between adventures at the campus canteen, Grown & Grilled. Guests can wander the magnificent structures, surrounding themselves in biophilic and art nouveau designs while exploring attractions inspired by biomimicry and the natural elements.
For special and seasonal events TerraTech has its very own event space next to Grown & Grilled. The event space is accessible from both TerraTech and the TerraTopia car-park for off-season events.
CONCEPT GALLERY:
TerraTech Labs as a functioning themed entertainment experience has to be entertaining, operable, safe, inclusive, and sustainable in design and execution. The area itself is designed around 150.000 extra visits per year. The total area, offerings and planning has been based on the figures of Terratopia and increase of attendance.
The schematic design phase had the focus of delivering a full ride scene of Expedition: Petal Pursuit and creating an operable themed area. The jungle scene is the most prominent story scene on the attraction and was selected for the reason as our focus point.
The TerraTech culture is built around respect for the environment and for each other. Reuse, reduce & recycle is the core incorporated principle in operational sustainability. From reusuable cutlery to solar panels. Furthermore, guests are left with a motivating, bright yet responsible message about the harmony of humankind and nature through biomimicry.
Accessibility can be found in both our operations with low accessible counters, accessibility areas, and sensory accessibility. In the design of Dr. Lillienthal guests will be able to find representation for disabilities.
